Accessibility Statement
CreditDoc is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone.
Our Commitment
CreditDoc strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines help make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, learning disabilities, cognitive limitations, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and combinations of these.
We believe that access to financial information and comparison tools is essential for all consumers, regardless of ability. Making our site accessible is not just a legal obligation -- it's the right thing to do.
Measures We Have Taken
Semantic HTML
All pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and semantic elements to support screen readers and assistive technologies.
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements (links, buttons, forms, navigation) are accessible via keyboard. Focus states are visible on all interactive elements.
Color Contrast
Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
Alternative Text
Images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked appropriately so screen readers can skip them.
Responsive Design
Our site is fully responsive and functions on all screen sizes, from mobile devices to desktop monitors, including text zoom up to 200%.
Readable Typography
We use clear, legible fonts with adequate spacing. Line lengths and line heights are optimized for readability.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of our site may have limitations:
- ● Embedded maps: Google Maps embeds on lender review pages may have limited screen reader support. The full address is always provided as text and as a link to Google Maps.
- ● Third-party content: Some content loaded from third-party services (such as affiliate partner websites) may not meet our accessibility standards. We encourage those partners to improve their accessibility.
- ● PDF documents: Some PDF documents on our site may not be fully accessible. If you need an accessible version of any document, please contact us.
